Did I once say I didn't care for pink in the garden? I hope not.
The hummingbirds were in a feeding frenzy at all the feeders and in the zinnia patch.
The path was freshly mown (thanks to me) and the morning was a cool 62 degrees. The wildlife was out and so were the cattle. It just doesn't get any better than this!

I'm glad you're having some coolness! We didn't grow any zinnias this summer - no bright colors!
Beautiful post Mary
Pretty zinnias. I like the picture of the deer just beside the woods. What a sight💗.
Gorgeous photographs. I can almost smell the fresh air and the wild life is wonderful.
Such a nice place you have for walking. Love deer and the cows.
I am breathing the air, drinking the drink and tasting all the fruit of summer I can right now. Although my autumn is my soul season, I do not take one precious moment of this season for granted and try to store bits of it deep inside for our seasons of cold. Your zinnias are glorious - and that buck. WOW! Impressive indeed. ~Robin~
I sure wish we had had more zinnias survive...the one that did has sure put on a show of blooms. It looks like the hummers enjoy yours.
Oooh, yes, Drink the drink of the freshly mown grass filling the air. B.r.e.a.t.h.e.....
Oh my, that sounds like a very cool day. It is 96 degrees here right now at 6:00 PM in the evening. Your garden looks lovely!
Seeing your beautiful zinnias reminds me of my mother and her garden. Beautiful photos of both the deer and the cattle.
Great photos. I've never had good luck with zinnias. Nice looking deer. Your little mowed path looks fabulous.
